"Kickatinalong Nuts 3"


 “Kickatinalong Nuts 3” FF386 is an exceptional two‑piece sculpture carved from premium Koroit opal, a material celebrated for its intricate natural patterning and rich interplay of colour. The individual components—measuring (a) 1 cm × 5 cm × 5.5 cm and (b) 2 cm × 6 cm × 4.5 cm—have been meticulously shaped by hand, revealing the stone’s distinctive veining, earthy tonal shifts, and subtle flashes of embedded colour.

Presented on a finely crafted Gidgee timber stand, the work achieves a harmonious balance between the opal’s organic complexity and the timber’s deep, warm grain.  We've returned to the vast, sun soaked outback for this years opal season - renewed, inspired, and ready to breathe life into a new collection of hand-carved Opal Sculptures.

This land has a way of stirring the imagination, and our upcoming pieces reflect the colours, textures, and quiet poetry of the desert itself.
