Shingle Back Lizard and the cucumber
part 1
part 2
Joey eating chilled cucumber on a hot summers day!
Driving to the bore to collect water, we came across this scene of galah's and kangaroo's all having a feed on the cow's hay leftovers.
Male and female Shingleback lizards mate for life and live over 50 years. The female gives birth to one live young per year if the season is right. We love watching them follow each other through our garden.
Mulga Parrot family group coming in for a nice drink of water on a hot summers day!
We have a wallaby and joey visiting us every day.
Wishing everyone a healthy, happy, successful 2018.
Michael is been busy carving the first sculpture for the 2018 series, so in the meantime we will be posting images of our summer on Koroit Opal Field. Stay save over the holidays.
