Fusion of chocolate ironstone and caramel silt stone, twirling patterns setting the aqua and turquoise glittering colours through out the colbalt blue opal piece which Michael believes could be a opal wood replacement, reminding him of something belonging from ancient times.

"Koroit Dreamtime"  FF135 from the 2011 series.

This piece was a challenge to carve, multi-layering of the distinctive formation within the nut allowed the unique characteristic's to be expressed in this picturesque stone.

Created from Koroit opal nuts nestled together in a conglomerate of ironstone and siltstone.
